The villa is perfect. The location is simply fantastic. Standing in the garden and looking out over the sea to the horizon is simply magical. For me, Villa Barlavento is a piece of heaven.

This property was delightful. The only thing that gave me concern was the BBQ area - it was unusable. There was a bit of (what appeared to be) black mold in 2 of the bathrooms but what can you expect when you are on the beach. Service from the property manager was spectacular and the views were quite delightful. As a suggestion, perhaps a welcome basket for late arrivals and I suggest this because I have had this in other rentals and it certainly adds that personal touch. Thank you for the opportunity to stay at this Villa.

Está casa até ao momento tem servido os nossos interesses para a composição da nossa família.
O facto de podermos descer e subir rapidamente da casa para a praia e vice versa é muito importante para quem tem crianças pequenas. Outra vantagem é o facto de se situar numa vila piscatória que permite saborear peixinho com qualidade.
Esperemos regressar em 2025.

We enjoyed the villa, the location on the beach is fantastic. We were about a 15 minute walk to restaurants, groceries and amenities. We were a short Uber to downtown Albufeira. We stayed for 7 days and it would have been good to get cleaning service halfway to get fresh towels. We will do that for sure next time. The place had everything we needed. We had some issues with power outage once morning but that was the electricity company and we learned this is a common occurrence. I would recommend this villa as it was great for a large family like we had with 8 adults.

Excelente localização.

The location is great, The pool was very clean and the property size accommodated 12 people easily.

We were a group of 6 women here for a vacation/celebration. The house was perfect for our needs - although we all felt the beds were too firm! We loved the easy access to the beach and the short walk to shops, restaurants and grocery. The property manager was amazing and quick to respond to our issues and questions. We would definitely recommend this property and would love to come back - The Besties

Die Villa bietet viel Platz, hat genügend Rückzugsräumlichkeiten, auch wenn man mit zwei Parteien verreist. Es hat alles was es braucht an Infrastruktur, allerdings muss man alles Andere selber mitbringen oder einkaufen, vom Office wird einem umgehend geholfen oder geantwortet, wenn etwas ist und auch der Hausmanager ist bemüht. Das Haus bedürfte das eine oder andere an Reparatur investiert und auch eine Grundreinigung die über Besenrein geht würde nicht schaden.

This villa is a fabulous stay for family or friends. We were celebrating a big birthday and the location and views are fantastic. Restaurants and bars and the beach are within walking distance. The local community are really friendly and a taxi ride to the strip or old town is no more than 10 Euros. On our last day we visited Vilamoura which was a short taxi journey. The beds are comfortable and the villa is spotless I would definitely come back to this villa again.

Just got back from an amazing week at this gorgeous villa with the most amazing views and the perfect beach.
Would not hesitate to rebook and can’t wait to get back out there.

We’ve rented Barlavento for the 2nd time already. The villa has the perfect view (you can almost see sunrise and sunset), a nice outside area with green and a big pool, the kitchen is big enough to cook for 10 people + it has a very big fridge, the rooms also have similar sizes and 3 bathrooms are also sufficient for 10 people. The couches are super cozy.
Communication for check-in and check-out was also super friendly and quick.
We definitely want to come back again!

“Avis sur notre séjour” Propriété idéalement située. Confort très satisfaisant (une salle de bains supplémentaire aurait été parfaite). Entretien espaces verts et piscine parfait. Maison très agréable à vivre.

“Wirklich nichts zu missen!”

Das Objekt liegt wie auf den Zahlreichen Bilder zu sehen ist, direkt an der Steilküste mit direktem Abgang zum Strand. Einkaufsmöglichkeit sind fußläufig zu erreichen. Der Pool ist teilweise bis zu 2 Meter tief und lädt auch neben dem Atlantik zum entspannten Dümpeln ein. Mit 5 Schlafzimmern und 3 Badezimmern ist das Verhältnis auch angemessen und die Küchenausstattung reicht für eine Urlaubsküche auch vollkommen aus. Insgesamt hatten wir eine sehr schöne Woche und würden dieses Haus definitiv noch einmal buchen

“Amazing home!”
We loved our stay at this property. The location was amazing and the view was more than we could imagine. I highly recommend this location if you are visiting the Algarve region of Portugal. The home itself was spacious with plenty of room. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen was fully equipped. We had tv and internet and lots of outdoor living area. The pool was perfect and the lawn was beautiful. The cafe below at the beach was a wonderful plus. Close to supermarket

We were a large group and stayed for a week ,the villa was very clean everything we needed was there and Ricardo greeted the first part of our group and explained everything. I would definitely recommend this villa for families and would happily return . Thank you !

Ha sido un placer la estadía en la casa. Ricardo ha sido siempre muy amable, ha estado a disposición cuando lo necesitábamos y nos ha ayudado a pagar el peaje del auto haciéndolo el mismo. Nos han dejado hacer el check in antes del horario estipulado. La casa es limpia, cómoda y con una vista espectacular. Volveríamos sin duda! Lo recomiendo mucho para familias o grupos de amigos! 🙂

“Fantastic”

Just returned home from 7 days with friends. This villa is superb. Obviously the view is spectacular and the villa itself was perfectly sized for the 10 of us. Just a 5 min walk to the quiet village of Olhos d’Agua. If travelling to the Strip or Albufeira Old Town, book an Uber – it’s half the price of normal taxis. There’s a large Supermarket about a mile away for all your groceries etc. The only negatives would be there was no towel change during the week and the beds could use an additional pillow. But we’ll definitely be back!! Thanks Ricardo!

“Atemberaubende Aussicht”

Wir durften eine Woche in dieser wunderschönen und sauberen Villa verbringen. Der Blick ist atemberaubend und man ist in weniger als 5min am Strand. Wenn man am Pool liegt kann man die Wellen hören und das Meer sehen, einfach eine tolle unvergessliche Aussicht. Die Villa ist super ausgestattet, allerdings muss sowas wie Öl, Gewürze, Spülmittel, Tabs, Klopapier (eine Rolle ist vorhanden), Küchenpapier etc. gekauft werden. Die Messer könnten auch schärfer sein, aber das sind Kleinigkeiten, welche diese Villa meiner Meinung nach nicht abwerten sondern nur zur Information dienen. Handtücher sind für jeden Gast vorhanden (ein kleines und ein größeres) allerdings keine Strandtücher. Für jedes Bett ist eine kleine oder große Decke, je nach Bett vorhanden. Alles in Allem war es einfach nur traumhaft und es wird nicht unser letzter Aufenthalt dort gewesen sein. Die Abwicklung von der Buchung, Zahlung, Anreise und Abreise bis zur Rückerstattung der Kaution verlief reibungslos, schnell und professionell. Fragen wurden sofort beantwortet ob per Telefon oder Mail

“Traumhafte Lage”

Wir haben eine wunderschöne Urlaubswoche in der schönen und sehr sauberen Villa direkt oberhalb des Strandes verbracht. Die Lage ist einmalig. Direkt vom Grundstück aus kommt man auf den Wanderweg oberhalb der Klippen mit immer wieder neuen und traumhaften Ausblicken auf die Küste der Algarve. Direkt unterhalb des Grundstücks ist ein sehr schöner und ruhiger Strandabschnitt, den man über Treppenstufen erreicht

“Trés belle vila”Très belle maison, très bien située : pouvoir aller à la plage en quelques pas c’est agréable ! Petit centre commercial à 1 km et de nombreux restaurants å proximité. La maison est suffisamment spacieuse pour accueillir 10 personnes.peut être manque un peu de vaisselle comme des verres à vin et une grande poêle mais c’est un détail. La vue est magnifique, mais de nombreux passages car chemin de randonnée passe devant le jardin…et nous etions en avril… Nous avons passé un agréable séjour

“Nahezu Perfekt”

Die Villa liegt traumhaft und wir hatten einen wunderbaren Urlaub. Der Garten, der Pool und die gesamte Außenanlage war sehr gepflegt. Im Haus hat es uns auch an nichts gefehlt, nur einige Betten waren nicht sehr bequem. Es war bei einigen Betten kein Lattenrost drin, sondern wurde mit einem Brett unterlegt, was natürlich dann sehr hart war. Aber ansonsten gibt’s nichts zu meckern

“Amazing”

Myself and 6 ladies have just had 4 nights a this beautiful villa.. the villa is outstanding and in a magnificent position overlooking the beach.. you access the beach from the villa down a short walkway.. (there are some steps but not bad) The pool is lovely and the garden area is epuipped with sun loungers and outside table and chairs.. within walking distance there are some lovely bars, eateries and supermarket..taxis are very reliable to get to villamoura and centre of albeufira.. We would recommend this villa 100% Absolute gem of a find and we will definitely be returning.. Ricardo who welcomed us at the villa was a great help with with everything.. Allure villas have been great to book through.. thank you

“super sejour”

la villa était parfaite et correspondait au descriptif. suberbe site. tres belle vue sur la mer . que rever de plus le matin en se levant! de plus, l’escalier mene directement à la plage de sable fin. bon la mer était froide 16° mais la saison ne fait que commencer. c’est le point de départ idéeal pour visiter la region de l’Algarve

“Séjour très reposant directement sur la mer”

Très belle villa, calme et spacieuse, plages immenses et magnifiques, sable d’une finesse inouïe, et falaises multicolores. promenade à marée basse dans les magnifiques rochers marins et promenade sur les falaises à marée haute. Construction de très grands châteaux de sables et de totems de pierre avec les enfants. temps un peu mitigé et maison assez peu isolée, nous avons passé un agréable séjour au coin de la cheminée qui crépitait d’une douce chaleur très appréciable

“WHAT A GREAT PLACE !!”

We spent a week at Villa Barlavento in late June and everything was great. The location is gorgeous; just over the cliffs and the blue sea and the villa itself is really beautiful. The view is absolutely more than you can expect : when you arrive and open the door of the villa and, through a window courtyard, you see the turquoise of the swimming pool, the green of the garden and just behind the blue of the sea, you know that you are in the right place to spend your vacation. Supermarkets, fish and vegetable markets are in a short way from the villa. There are many beaches nearby you can visit by car. I will really recommend this villa and this rental agency whose services were really exceptional

We were greeted promptly by Ricardo who gave us a quick and informative tour of the villa, he also gave us some very useful information for local amenities. The villa itself was exceptionally clean, all of the rooms were very accommodating with more than enough room, comfortable beds with plenty of extra sheets and pillows. The kitchen was very well appointed with all of the necessary appliances, the big bonus being that it has 2 large Fridge/Freezers which was perfect for us. Also the wifi was excellent with a great signal throughout. However the best part of the villa was its garden and view. The views from the end of the garden and the roof terrace were sensational. The table and chairs were perfect for a big BBQ feast and the pool, although cold, was very clean. The only thing missing was either a pool or table tennis table for a bit of daytime fun. There is a supermarket within a 10 minute walk and if you ask nicely they will let you take a trolley home if you promise to bring it back!! The main strip is a €7 cab ride and the airport is 30-40 minutes tops. Overall then I would strongly recommend this villa, with its amazing views and peaceful location and great amenities. I’m currently booking our next stay for the same time next year!!

We had a large group of friends, including teenagers girls, the logistic of the villa where excellent, as well as the location , being so near the beach giving us the opportunity to see the girls playing/ swimming in the see, the beach walks around the cave where lovely, for an early or late afternoon walk ! i would very much recommend this villa

“A great place for a relaxing holiday”

The family, a party of 9 ranging in age from 15 to 70, arrived at 1:30 a.m to be met by Luis, who, despite the hour, was bright, cheerful and very helpful. He showed us the villa, told us what we needed to know, handed us the keys, wished us a good holiday, and left, with no extended handover procedures. The villa itself was large, airy and well set out. The five bedrooms all featured comfortable beds, wardrobes, cupboards and fans. The windows all had mesh-covered louvred shutters, so could be left open without admitting flying insects! One bedroom was ensuite, and all the bathrooms were clean, tidy and well provided with towels. The kitchen was equipped with all the regular items; toaster, coffee maker, hob and oven, microwave etc., and enough cutlery and crockery for a small army. There were two fridge/freezers which were well used throughout the week!.The external door in the kitchen led out to a BBQ area and stairs to the roof, which was well used by the younger members of the party for sunbathing and for relaxing during the evening. The lounge was superb, featuring comfortable seating for the whole party, TV and large dining table. Access to the patio and pool was via a sliding area of the glass wall which overlooked the pool, garden and sea. What a view that was! The pool has a small shallow area with steps, leading via a steep slope to a 9x5m, 6ft deep area, which was great for us as we were all swimmers, but as there was no fence, would be a concern for those with young children. The garden was well cared for, and ended at a public footpath and picket fence overlooking the cliffs and beach. The footpath led via steps to the beach, and, although a bit of a challenge for two of the party, was usable by all. The traffic along the footpath was not excessive, and caused few problems, although when only one member of the party was in the house, two teenagers decided to use the pool without asking. However when the remaining person came out and asked what they thought they were doing, they simply shouted an apology and ran off. During the week, the pool circulation pumps failed, and a call to the agent resulted in a visit by the pool maintenance man within 30 minutes, and the problem was soon fixed. Overall, the villa was a great base for a relaxing holiday, and I would have no problem in recommending it, although I would have to caution those with young children that there are risks involved with the pool and easy access to the cliff, which is at least 20 metre high!

“Situation unique ! Vue et vie extérieure idyllique”

Le jardin, la piscine, le mobilier extérieur, l’accès à la plage et aux criques (100 m) sont parfaits. Ce fut un rêve pour toute la famille de passer de la piscine à la plage et de se ballader le long des criques avec notre chien. Les photos sur le site représente vraiment la situation réelle. L’intérieur de la maison est spacieux (nous étions 9 et un chien) mais à part pour préparer à manger et dormir nous étions toujours dehors. Les sanitaires pourraient être rafraichis (on nous avait annoncé que les 3 planches de WC allaient être changées car abimées mais nous n’avons rien vu !) et un bon frigo dimensionné pour 12 (max accepté dans la maison) serait un bon investissement : avec la chaleur ambiante le frigo avait difficile à nous rendre des aliments refroidis (marque FLECTROLUX … ce n’est pas électrolux). La literie mériterait aussi une amélioration. Par contre l’agence allure villa et vraiment professionnelle depuis le début et tous les contacts se sont déroulés parfaitement (en plus en français – merci) soit par mail, par téléphone et finalement par Mme Otilia la responsable de la maison sur place. Elle était disponible, à l’écoute, gentille et parlait français ! Le retour de garantie s’est effectué très rapidement. Nous n’avons que des louanges à faire au niveau organisation et séjour en général. Petit bémol que le propriétaire devrait entendre : pour le prix demandé en haute saison quelques investissements minime seraient nécessaire pour mettre l’intérieur de la maison au niveau de la situation géographique et de la vue ! Le prix sera alors tout à fait justifié entons y retournerons avec un énorme plaisir

I have rented a lot of villas all over the world and i can safely say this one has the best location ever! right on the cliff top overlooking the ocean only 1 min walk away from the beach. A lovely large pool and garden. perfect for familys and large groups of friends

Wow what can I say! this villa could not be better located right on one of the nicest beaches in the Algarve and was spacious, well equipped and very comfortable! Highly recommended!!
