The property is beautiful and clean in a neighborhood that is nice and safe. The photos on VRBO are exactly the way the property looks. We stayed here for one week in early June 2023 with our group of 10 including our children and their spouses and two grandchildren. There is plenty of room to spread out and have your own space. And plenty of space for family gatherings too. The kitchen is well stocked, and the pool is ideal for the kids as well as the adults on a hot afternoon. There is also a very nice (fenced in with gate) park at the corner of the street for the kids to play. It's a one minute walk from the villa. Miguel, the property manager, is absolutely outstanding. I started talking & texting with him a couple of months before our trip using WhatsApp which seems to be used a lot in Europe. He answered all of my questions as well as many I hadn’t even thought of. The day we arrived he met us at the villa and gave us a tour explaining everything we needed to know. He was also quick to answer the phone during the week when we had a question. This was our first trip to Portugal, and we found the villa and the people of Portugal to be delightful. It’s convenient to the nearby beaches but a bit of a drive into Lisbon. Miguel explained options for getting into Lisbon including a ferry ride we all enjoyed several times. We are from the US and this was our first trip to Portugal. English is very prevalent. The people are very friendly and accommodating. Stay here : )

We have just returned from a wonderful 2 week stay in Villa Amendoa. There were 2 families with 4 adults and 5 kids. The villa was perfect for us all. The kids loved the separate TV room for relaxing after a day in the pool. The pool area is great, with the outside kitchen / bar / BBQ area being well used. The pool is a great size and in the sun almost all day. Miguel, the villa manager and our contact during our stay, was brilliant and took care of any issues we had very quickly. I would agree with previous reviews saying a car is essential. I would not hesitate to recommend Villa Amendoa.

“Perfect place in C Caparica” We stayed in Villa Amendoa for 5 nights with 8 people and our stay was just perfect. The villa is very beautiful and has a lot of space and is very well-equipped. Especially the outdoor area is perfect to relax with the spacious pool area and the outdoor kitchen and bathroom. Also the area, where the villa is located is very nice – you can do the grocery shopping at aldi or lidl close by (3 minutes with the car) and you can also reach the beach Fonte da Telha in a 10 minute car drive. We would definitely come back here and we highly recommend allure villas (thank you so much again Ana, Kamilla and Miguel!) – everyone was super friendly and helpful; especially in this COVID19 situation. They always provided us with the newest information and supported us in every possible way.
Additional note to the situation: we were coming from Germany and in the German media they talk about a lockdown in Lisbon, what bothered us a lot at first. But in fact, the situation is “only” more strict in a few areas of the Lisbon region (e.g. Santa Klara), and the area of Villa Amendoa is not infected! Of course you have to wear a mask when you go to a store, etc. but it’s definitely not as bad as it is portrayed in the media. We felt very safe during our stay and had no concerns at all. |

The kitchen and villa was very well equipped and was cleaned to a high standard for our arrival. Miguel the manager was really great. He was accessible at all times by mobile and whenever we had any questions, he was there to answer them. The children loved the pool and facilities. We thought we may need to hire a car initially but the UBER cabs were fantastic and so cheap and we were able to commute in and around the area even with short visits with them. Close access to local supermarket, beach and restaurants was a plus point. We asked for an extra bed which was provided and we were even able to check in a little early which was fab because of the younger kids.

Villa had everything we could ask for a vacation and we are already thinking of going again soon. It was easy to get around with Uber and grocery store Aldi was nearby. We loved the Villa and the place!

“Family Holiday” Just got back from a lovely holiday at the villa, facilities great, especially the glass fencing around the pool making it safe for young children. Excellent BBQ area and kitchen . Good supermarkets and beaches within a short drive.ver más
“Family Holiday” Just got back from a lovely holiday at the villa, facilities great, especially the glass fencing around the pool making it safe for young children. Excellent BBQ area and kitchen . Good supermarkets and beaches within a short drive. The weather got very hot in our second week making the villa extremely hot especially upstairs as the bedroom ceiling fan was very noisy and couldn’t be used. It would have been more comfortable if there had been fans available. Miguel the manager kept in touch and answered any questions we had.

“Amazing Birthday Getaway” Just came back from Villa Amendoa with 7 friends and it was the best trip ever. Miguel the property manager was excellent in the run up to the holiday providing us with all the information required. During our stay he was very helpful with restaurant recommendations at the beach nearby. The Villa itself is beautiful and very well stocked. Had an super amazing time and Miguel is the best!

“Best Family Reunion” Our whole family, 10 people including 4 kids, stayed in VILLA AMENDOA for two weeks in July and we had a blast. From the beginning, the communication with villa manager was very easy as Miguel was very responsive and accommodating host. Everything was confirmed and settled before our arrival so the only thing we had to do is to enjoy our vacation. The villa had everything we needed including a very well equipped kitchen. We were given a local phone to be able to contact Miguel at any time. However, we did not use it much as there was no need for that. Everything was perfect; especially we loved the pool and the barbeque area next to the pool. Housekeeping changed towels and bed linens after one week of stay. Definitely, consider renting a car. The villa has a good location, 5-minute driving distance from the fantastic beach with very nice bars, multiple supermarkets, and a golf course. 20-25 minutes away from a big shopping center and from Lisbon. Overall, we had an amazing holiday! Thank you so much for a great vacation!
