Villa Atlantica fully corresponds with its’ stunning pictures as shown on the website and generally we were completely satisfied with our experience – perfect location just behind the dunes separating the villa from the ocean, really spacious and cozy bedrooms with wooden floors, large and fully equipped kitchen. The only small downsides were absence of children’s fence around the pool and the fact there is not much greenery in the pool area – just stone floor and a few lemon trees and bushes. Additionally the living space occupying most of the first floor at times felt like a waiting hall of the small airport with dining area, bar, several sitting areas, big staircase leading to the second floor and entrance halls combined in one large room without any walls separating different functional areas. Though for families travelling with small kids that can actually be a big plus as you can easily oversee all your kids in various corners of this huge living space at once. All in all a very nice and comfortable experience!

Beautiful Villa with first class amenities, clean, and well maintained. Set in a quiet secure location 5minutes from the beach. There is a nice restaurant close by and a small minimarket within walking distance. The Villa manager greeted us and was available when we enquired about anything, he even provided a new kettle when we asked for one!
We booked with Allure prior to Covid in 2020 and had to re-schedule twice due to the disruption. I would just like to mention that Allure were 1st Class in their help and response’s to all my questions and requests. Thank you for a great holiday, if we decide to have a similar family holiday in Portugal I will certainly use Allure.

“Vacances familiales”

Très belle villa avec de grands espaces, les chambres (lits) sont énormes, les salles-d’eau fonctionnelles et nous avons profité de beaux moments en famille autour du barbecue et de la piscines, quelques petits points sont à relever, la plage est située à quelques mètres de la villa, ce qui est un réel point positif et la piscine de taille correcte, étant relevé qu’elle devient vite profonde et les enfants doivent être surveillés car il n’y a pas de sécurité, il manque quelques parasols supplémentaires car il n’y en avait que deux pour neuf chaises longues et nous n’avons pas profité des terrasses dans les chambres car elles ne sont pas équipées de parasols et donc inutilisables avec les chaleurs du mois de juillet. Il y a des moustiquaires aux portes et fenêtres ce qui est absolument nécessaire car il y a beaucoup de moustiques en soirée. La villa est un peu loin des commerces, le grand supermarché le plus proche est situé à Grandola soit à 43Km de même que la station à essence, une boulangerie est située à 15 minutes à pied de la villa mais des commandes au préalable ( le jour d’avant) sont nécessaires, une petite supérette pour dépanner est située à Troia même à 10 minutes en voiture. Nous avons également profité de la plage de Troia, magnifique eau bleu avec ces dunes de sable à marée basse, nous avons vu une étoile de mer et plusieurs petits poissons, le seul point négatif de cette plage est le stationnement, extérieurs impossible à trouver et intérieur il faut compter au minimum 12€ et un peu de marche. Malgré ces quelques points nous recommandons cette villa pour sa proximité de la plage, ses équipements, ses grands espaces ouverts et sa piscine.

Magnifique maison très spacieuse pour accueillir 5 à 6 couples dans un resort très agréable. La proximité de la mer est vraiment un plus même si la piscine sur le terrain est un vrai délice et nous incite à aller plus souvent dans la piscine qu’à la mer !!! Nous avons passé une semaine très agréable en septembre – moins de monde et un temps encore très chaud. Je recommande vivement cette location.

“Excellente adresse”

Nous avons passé une très agréable semaine de vacances familiales (8 adultes et 4 enfants). La villa, moderne, spacieuse et confortable, a contribué largement à la qualité de notre séjour. La belle piscine a fait le bonheur des petits et des grands (attention : pas de protection pour les petits bambins ne sachant pas nager). Le service d’entretien (piscine, jardin) et d’intervention (petites pannes) a été réactif et efficace.

“Erholung pur!!!”

Das Haus hat unseren Ansprüchen voll entsprochen. Wir wurden herzlich empfangen.-alles lief wie vereinbart. Sauberes Haus, beheizter Pool, genügend Handtücher. Wir mussten allerdings am Ankunftsabend noch einmal 40 km fahren, da keine Grundausstattung (Toilettenpapier,Gewürze,usw.)im Haus vorhanden waren.Das kleine Zimmer in der ersten Etage, hatte kein Bad, Ablagemöglichkeit, Spiegel und Feuchtigkeit an der Decke.Aber auch damit sind wir zurecht gekommen.-sonst alles super. Leider gab es keine Möglichkeit fussläufig ein Restaurant zu erreichen(Beachclub geschlossen).Wir könnten uns allerdings in der ganz gut eingerichteten Küche/mit Aussengrill, gut selbst versorgen. Vielen Dank für den tollen Urlaub…

“Stunning Villa”

On arrival at the villa we were all blown away with how amazing it was. The photos do not do it justice, it’s incredible. The inside is all open plan, but we spent hardly any time in there due to the weather and lovely pool and outside area. The rooms are all good, although the two king rooms with en-suites are exceptional with beds big enough to get lost in. If there are 6 couples, there may be arguments on who gets these rooms! The showers in all the bathrooms are fantastic and the bath is big enough to swim in! Outside, the garden is well kept with pretty flowers and lemon trees. There is plenty of space to sunbathe and a great BBQ area which we took full advantage of. The outside dining table seats 8-10 comfortably, but there is another round table that could be added if there are more of you. The pool is a good size, although gets deep very quickly so maybe not great for small children. Take bug spray (we bought citronella candles as well) as there are quite a few insects. Location: The villa is situated just a couple of minutes walk from the huge sandy beach and Atlantic ocean where you can watch the sunset over the mountains. We went in April, which is out of season, and often were the only people on the beach. Bliss. There is a beach club, but this was closed for the duration of our stay. There is a small supermarket and cafeteria about 15 minutes walk away, and the ferry to Setubal, and it’s impressive fish market, is about 30 minutes walk. The local supermarket closed at 15:30, so without a car on our arrival we would have gone hungry as the next closest supermarket was a 15 minute drive away. I would definitely recommend having a car as there is very little within walking distance of the villa. To the North, Troia has a marina, and a few shops and restaurants, and to the South is the quaint little town of Comporta, both a drive away. If you’re looking for a quiet get away to spend time chilling and having BBQs with a beautiful beach just around the corner, and aren’t worried about having lots of shops, restaurants and night life nearby, then this is the perfect place. I would definitely go back.
