Villa da Encosta is a typical Portuguese villa for 8 persons, located in a beautiful and peaceful village, in Lisbon outskirts. This 2-story property comes with a lot of character, showcasing vintage furnishings and flooring that paint a picture of the Portuguese culture. At guests´ disposal are 4 bedrooms, a fully equipped kitchen, a dining room and a cosy living room with fireplace. The suite has a balcony with a small table that provide guests with a wonderful view where nature, peace, and quiet are imperial. On the exterior, a large private swimming pool 6 m x 12 m, and a massive garden, deliver the so desired relaxation, whereas the outdoor dining area and the built-in barbecue complement this charming villa, where the family gatherings are set to take place under the delightful Portuguese weather.

Overall this house was a great option for our family gathering of seven people. The location was great to enjoy local beaches, Seseimbra, and Lisbon. The house shows it’s age and needs some upgrades (kitchen, bathrooms), but it met our space needs (lots of space to dine outdoors and pool). There were a couple issues: hot water boiler tripped a couple times (but was quickly reset by property manager); tiles in pool can be a little rough in areas; beds were very firm; and road just leading up to property requires a good vehicle to properly navigate. Overall, our family had a great time in Portugal. The view from the house is great.

Détail : nous n’avons jamais réussi à éteindre l’éclairage extérieur pour admirer totalement le ciel étoilé qui était magnifique. Cela mis à part, maison parfaite pour de vacances en famille. |

Overall we had a really good time at the Villa Encosta. The house was totally clean and there is more than enough space for 6 people. The owner, who rented it the first time this year, was really friendly andsee more

Overall we had a really good time at the Villa Encosta. The house was totally clean and there is more than enough space for 6 people. The owner, who rented it the first time this year, was really friendly and we had a good talk. Future guests should know about the way to the house, because its very steep and slippery. 4×4 car would be recommended for inexperienced drivers. Also the neighborhood is a little bit noisy because of the many dogs which are barking a lot. The kitchen is big, so we were able to cook all together. The equipment of the kitchen is well stocked. The interior of the house is a little bit older and some parts of it could be repaired or replaced. Nevertheless we really enjoyed staying there and had a great time sitting on the terrace. When we had problems during our stay, someone came immediately to fix it. |

The house is beautiful with lost of space, padios and a good pool. The house is a bit older, but everything is well kept. Everywhere you`ll find explanations about in English and french (for the dishwasher etc). WiFi issee more

The house is beautiful with lost of space, padios and a good pool. The house is a bit older, but everything is well kept. Everywhere you`ll find explanations about in English and french (for the dishwasher etc). WiFi is a bit weak and limited in volume. The driveway up to the house is a challenge and really should be done (cemented or something), our Renault Kadjar had a really hard time reaching the top. We had a great stay and the owner and house manager were very kind and welcomed us with bottles of wine. Can recommend. The drive to restaurants in the village is about 10 minutes by car. |
